About the event (15.05.2024 / Warsaw & online).
The Public Affairs Club of the Polish PR Association is initiating another industry discussion. This time in a hybrid formula, so that stationary participants in Warsaw will have the opportunity to network. The guest speaker will be Michal Szanter, president of the Association of Information Professionals (SPI), OSINT analyst, and PSPR member.
Public Affairs Club meetings are an opportunity to take a broad look at the issues of dialogue and communication in public affairs. Today’s expert in this field is constantly improving competencies in order to be ready to understand current challenges. That’s why we invite distinguished guests and focus on discussion. This is a proven formula that we use during Public Affairs Breakfasts and webinars,” says Lukasz Zając, creator of the event and coordinator of the club.
The topic of the meeting was OSINT and its importance for relationship and reputation management.
Guest of the meeting Michal Szanter showed the issue from the most practical side possible.
Many myths have grown up around OSINT, or white intelligence. During the meeting I tried to dispel some of them, showing some elements of the workshop useful in the work of a public relations specialist.
Michal Szanter
Conclusions
The expert gave a presentation on popular myths related to open-source interviewing and the usefulness of white intelligence in the work of a PR specialist.
In Polish business reality, research is often depreciated and entrusted to assistants or junior positions – a serious mistake. Poorly conducted research can have a serious impact on management’s business decisions, resulting in a measurable translation into money.
